Many people rarely venture across the bridge into West Philly for dinner. Even though it’s just a hop away, there is something about the area being separated from Center City by a body of water that creates a mental block.
When they do cross the water, many wonder why they don’t do it more often. With so many affordable restaurants, many serving a variety of ethnic cuisine, it is well worth “the trip.”
There are a few great options directly on and around Penn’s campus, including Sansom Street off 34th, the Baltimore Avenue corridor, and the area around the Bridge movie theater at 40th and Walnut Streets.
