There aren’t too many reasons for visitors to travel to the far corner of Northeast Philadelphia, but Franklin Mills is a good one. The Garden of Eden to the devout discount shopper, the sprawling one-story mall is home to a plethora of outlet stores.
Most of the major chains are represented, including the Gap, Banana Republic, J. Crew, and Ann Taylor, along with higher-end manufacturers like Off Fifth (Saks Fifth Avenue), Polo, Ralph Lauren, and Last Call Neiman Marcus—all selling wares at sinfully low prices.
There are 200 shops, seven themed restaurants, a 14-screen movie theater, and a bowling alley: Set the entire day aside for your trip; you’ll need it.
