Some come to the area for the history, others for the nightlife, and others still for the mammoth King of Prussia Mall. The world-famous megalopolis of materialism is home to more than 400 stores and restaurants, eight major department stores, and more than 2.8 million square feet of retail space.

The mall website offers tidbits to put this size in perspective—like the fact that the number of sodas sold in the mall each year would be enough to fill five Olympic-sized swimming pools, or that if you walked through every corridor and isle, the distance would be more than walking across Manhattan.

In addition to the standard mall stores—think Gap, Bebe, Cinnabon—there are dozens of high-end national and international upscale boutique shops including Versace, Hugo Boss, Donna Karan, Hermes, Thomas Pink, and more.

It’s almost too much to tackle, which is probably why, in addition to a food court, King of Prussia also offers a separate coffee court for shoppers who need a break and a caffeine buzz.

If you’re not scared away yet, just be sure to leave your Jimmy Choos at home and wear the walking shoes.
