Metro Brasserie & Bar (7114 E. Stetson Dr., 480/994-3663, www.metrosouthbridge.com, 8 a.m.–midnight Mon.–Wed., 8 a.m.–2 a.m. Thurs.–Sun., $9–19) serves up French bistro classics at Scottsdale’s new SouthBridge complex. Executive chef Matthew Taylor culls from his New Orleans cooking experience to create a rich and satisfying menu. The onion soup gratin and salmon rillettes are tasty starters, as is the house-made pâté. Stick with one of the salads or artfully crafted sandwiches at lunch. Once the sun sets, try the moules frites or beef burgundy. Thanks to the restaurant’s extended hours, you can easily grab a snack or meal all day long.
