T.C. and Sedona Schnebly built the town’s first hotel in 1900, a cozy homestead that is now the home of the Tlaquepaque shopping plaza. More than a century later, visitors are still flocking here, and though there are a host of motels, hotels, resorts, and inns to suit every taste, Sedona’s specialty is the romantic getaway.
Accommodations tend to be steep year-round, with rates peaking in the winter and spring. Still, there are bargains to found in Sedona, but they tend to be occasionally moderate prices at the more expensive hotels and resorts. No matter where you stay, though, you can almost be guaranteed a room with a view.
