A number of local Puerto Vallarta volunteer clubs and groups invite visitors to their meetings and activities. The International Friendship Club, or Club Internacional de la Amistad (Parian del Puente office complex, local 13, P.O. Box 604, Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco 48350, tel. 322/222-5466, www.pvmexico.com, 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. Mon.–Fri.), an all- volunteer service club, sponsors a number of health, educational, and cultural projects. It welcomes visitors to the (usually second Monday) monthly general membership meeting.
