A relatively recent entrant to Seoul’s circle of mega-clubs, Heaven has been criticized for lacking its competitors’ design savvy or sense of style. But it makes up for this with sheer size and serious investments in light and sound equipment, as well as original touches like a vibrating wooden dance floor and a confetti machine that can fill the place with mock snowfall in an instant.
Though young, it’s already built a solid track record of attracting top international producers and DJs, and also boasts an exceptionally large second-floor VIP area that turns into an after-hours venue past 4 a.m.
As long as this place remains a hot spot, service is likely to remain pretty surly, especially at the door—trendy clothes and a valid ID will reduce your chances of trouble.
