The nonprofit arts organization that runs this landmark theater on Speedway books thoughtful and entertaining films, showing not only the best of today’s art-house flicks but also classics and cult films, and you can buy a microbrew and a slice of pizza to go with all the soul searching on the screen.
The theater regularly puts on special events with directors, screenwriters, and actors, as well as festivals and one-night-only showings, so it’s a good idea to check out the website if you’re a traveling cinephile.
Before 6 p.m. on weekdays tickets cost $6, otherwise it’s $8.75 for an adult, $5.75 for kids 12 and under.
