Traveling with Children
The Virgin Islands provide a whole range of appealing activities for children: swimming, snorkeling, hiking, and water sports are especially suitable. However, a few hotels, especially in the British Virgin Islands, don’t allow children under a certain age, so be sure to check first.
For parents who want a little time out from the kids, many larger hotels offer child-care service (be sure to check it out first before leaving your child there). In the British Virgin Islands, contact Tropical Nannies (284/495-6493, www.tropicalnannies.com).
