The National Gallery of Art’s three gift shops contain an extensive collection of art books, from expensive, heavy coffee-table books on artists and the gallery to works of nonfiction about art and art-related topics. It also features a nice selection of children’s books and both nonfiction and fictional works on artists as well as activity books and art supplies.
Postcard books make a nice takeaway, as do the shops’ array of note cards depicting some of the gallery’s best-known works.
