BlueSky Outfitters (800/228-7238, www.blueskyoutfitters.com) offers half-day ($74), full-day ($92), and overnight ($249) rafting trips on the Wenatchee River, considered one of the top 10 rafting runs in the United States. Trips put in at Riverside Park.
Skaters can shred one of Washington’s best skateboard parks, Pioneer Skate Park (220 Fuller St., dawn–10 p.m. daily) The park is lit at night. Safety equipment is strongly recommended.
If you can’t wait to get wet, check out Riverside Recreation (509/670-6457, www.riversiderecreation.net) to rent personal watercraft or full-sized boats for some river fun. Tow and launch yourself or opt for their delivery service. Jet Skis are $200 for six hours while a 20-foot Openbow will run you around $330 per day.
If you prefer your locomotion drier and four-legged, take a horseback trail ride at the Lake Wenatchee State Park Riding Stable (Lake Wenatchee State Park, 509/763-3647, May–Sept.). Guided rides run from $23 for a two-mile ride up to $130 for a full-day ride.
