Baker Hwy., Deming, 360/599-1964, daily noon–9:30 p.m.), an unassuming little roadside eatery with loads of scrumptious dishes, including fish tacos and juicy steaks. The spectacularly carved wooden bar here is a favorite spot for skiers to order up a pint of brew after a long day on Baker’s slopes.
