Paine Field is home to the Museum of Flight Restoration Center (425/745-5150, www.museumofflight.org, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Tues.–Sat., $2 donation), where aircraft are restored for this outstanding Museum of Flight Museum in Seattle. The center is located in Building C-72. Get here from the Boeing Tour Center by returning to Highway 526 eastbound and taking the first exit (Airport Road). Head south on Airport Road for a mile, and turn right onto 100th Street SW. Building C-72 is on the right side.

The Everett Center for the Arts (1507 Wall St., 425/257-8380, www.artscouncilofsnoco.org, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Mon.–Fri., 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Sat.), in the historic Monte Cristo Hotel, exhibits works of regional artists and includes a permanent collection of Dale Chihuly glass.

The Imagine Children’s Museum (1502 Wall St., 425/258-1006, www.imagineCM.org, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Tues., Wed., and Sat., 10 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Thurs.–Fri., 11 a.m.–5 p.m. Sun., $7) has fun children’s exhibits, including a rooftop playground, art studio, and great make-believe settings like a bank, train, and café.
