One of the area’s premier set of links, Semiahmoo Golf and Country Club (9565 Semiahmoo Pkwy., 360/371-7015 or 800/231-4425, www.semiahmoo.com, $80) is the featured attraction at the sprawling Semiahmoo Resort, with two championship courses—one of which was designed by Arnold Palmer and both of which are regularly voted Washington’s finest.
In Lynden, Homestead Golf & Country Club (360/354-1196 or 800/354-1196, www.homesteadfarmsgolf.com, $65) maintains an elaborate 18-hole championship course where one hole sits on an island. There’s also a putting course, gourmet restaurant, and an impressive fitness center. All are open to the public.
