Housed in a cute little farmhouse with an airy interior accented by light hardwood floors and pale peach walls, you'd think this place would be the type of place to stick to strictly down-home country cookin'—but you'd be wrong. The menu is Asian fusion, with cuisine elements from Thailand, India, and Malasia. If you're saddled with a picky eater, there are burgers here, too. If you've got a sweet tooth, be sure to try a Thai tea or a Malaysian coffee.

For more conventional fare, eat at Jimmy’s Pizza and Pasta (9819 Hwy. 532, 360/629-6565, www.jimmyspizza.com), which serves surprisingly good pies compared to most small-town pizzerias.
