The historic Clyde Theatre (1st St., 360/221-5525, www.theclyde.net, $6) is the only place to watch first-run movies on the south end of Whidbey Island.
In late February, several thousand people converge on town to search out the culprit in the annual Langley Mystery Weekend.
Langley’s popular Choochokam Festival of the Arts (360/221-7494) is held the second weekend of July with a juried arts festival, food, crafts, music, and dancing.
Don’t miss Langley’s Island County Fair (360/221-4677, www.islandweb.org/fair), a four-day event in late August that includes a logging show, carnival, parade, music, and 4-H exhibits.
