About 30 miles west of Port Angeles and 12 miles south of Highway 101, is Sol Duc (SOLE duck) hot springs (9 a.m.–9 p.m. daily mid-May through Aug., till 8 p.m. in Sept., 9 a.m.–8 p.m. Sat.–Sun. Apr.–mid-May, and Oct., $10 adults, $6.50 two hours or less before closing, $7.50 seniors). Bask in the 99–105°F mineral water piped into three large outdoor pools. A fourth freshwater pool is also on the site.
