Lakeview Cemetery
Just north of Volunteer Park is Lakeview Cemetery (206/322-1582), where many of the city’s early residents are buried, including Doc Maynard (the doctor who named Seattle after Chief Seattle) and the daughter of Chief Seattle. Most folks come here, however, to visit the grave of martial artist and actor Bruce Lee, who died in 1973.
His son, Brandon Lee, also a martial artist and actor, is buried here as well. He was accidentally killed in 1993 while filming The Crow.
