Founded in 1927 and greatly expanded in the 1990s, the Henry Art Gallery (206/543-2280, www.henryart.org, 11 a.m.–5 p.m. Tues., Wed., Fri.–Sun., 11 a.m.–8 p.m. Thurs., closed Mon., $10 adults, $6 seniors, students and under 14 free, free to all on Thursday), occupies a 46,000-square-foot building on the west edge of the campus. It is a major facility for traveling exhibits and always features something innovative.
