Driving through Mount Rainier National Park provides numerous sightseeing and photographic opportunities; the surrounding mountains, waterfalls, forests, and canyons alone justify the trip. Several easily accessible places are especially noteworthy and are highlights of many travelers’ journeys in Washington.
The following descriptive tour begins in the southwest corner of the park and follows the main roads to the northeast corner.
