Night Skiing
More and more skiers are being attracted to nighttime at the mountain. Lower-priced lift tickets, smaller crowds, plus a major coolness factor have driven many of Washington’s premier ski resorts to stay open a few hours after darkness falls. It can be a great comfort, especially when this northern-latitude state starts getting dark outside well before 5 p.m.
Most of the ski areas at Summit at Snoqualmie are open until 10 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Even the tubing park is open until 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
White Pass near Mt. Rainier offers a $20 deal for night skiing, or do it in the dark for free if you bought a daytime pass.
Wenatchee’s Mission Ridge offers a night-skiing lift pass for $15, lasting 4–9 p.m.
