About 27 kilometers southwest of Ancud [1], offshore Isla Puñihuil is home to breeding colonies of both Magellanic and Humboldt penguins.
In conjunction with Ancud travel agencies, the Fundación Otway (tel. 099/5647866, otwafund [at] ctcinternet [dot] cl) conducts half-hour Zodiac tours of the colony.
