There are two diving operations at Caleta Hanga Roa: the Mike Rapu Diving Center (www.mikerapu.cl [1], tel. 0322/551055) and the Orca Diving Center (tel. 0322/550375 or 0322/550877, www.seemorca.cl [2]). Diving excursions cost in the US$50–65 per person range.
Caleta Hanga Roa is also the island’s best surf site, busiest on weekends when local surfers line up for waves.
Cabalgatas Pantu (tel. 0322/100577) organizes horseback excursions, mostly half- and full-day, but there’s also one overnight option that includes camping and a cookout.
