A lobster shack plunked in the middle of Georgetown, Tackle Box is neighboring Hook [2]’s little sibling, down to its kid-friendly menu of fried shrimp, fish-and-chips, and lobster rolls.
This is the spot to satisfy a West Coast craving for fish tacos, well-prepared with the requisite amount of cabbage, as well as New England cravings: The lobster rolls are stuffed to the brim with sweet, tender chunks of seafood. The decor of plastic chairs and picnic tables is what you’d find in any Northern coastal takeout joint.
In 2011, Tackle Box opened an upstairs bar that features the same menu, now available with a cold beer.
