This beautiful contemporary bar in an annex of the Park Hyatt Hotel looks like a traditional Chinese pavilion. The various rooms and bars are separated by outdoor terraces, alleys, and water features, and the indoor area contains a wine room, lounge, and five bars. Outside is a grill for cooking food in summer.
The cocktails are innovative, and there’s a wood-fired oven for roasting Beijing Duck. The martini and vodka bar runs a weekly Ladies’ Night on Thursday 10 p.m.-1 a.m., offering free vodka for women. (In case you were wondering, xiu means “bloom” or “flourish” in Mandarin.)
