If you’re interested in the history of Beijing, this shop is a great place to find copies of vintage postcards that show the city in its former glory.
Danish expats Simon Rom Gjeroe and Lars Ulrik Thom collect old postcards from the 1890s to 1940s and reprint them onto postcards, calendars, and framed prints. They find the originals in antique shops, auctions, and flea markets. Their most significant haul came from the family of Danish missionaries who had lived and worked in the capital.
The pair run lectures and talks at the shop and are more than willing to chat to customers about their collection.
