Try clubbing Chinese style at this Xintiandi super-club. Strobe lights, smoke machines, blaring commercial hip-hop, and LED screens provide the backdrop for plenty of posturing, as wealthy locals strut their stuff and flaunt their designer gear.

G Plus is located inside a shopping mall, which could explain all that designer clothing. A table with whiskey and green tea mixers (sounds like an odd combination, but it’s actually quite tasty) will set you back a couple of thousand yuan, so I recommend observing from the sidelines or dance floor for a cheaper night.
