This cute boutique with its red polka dot awning is a great place to find unique, individual pieces. Featured frequently in Asian fashion magazines, Japanese designer Mayumi Sato creates fun, casual wear with a twist. Sato uses 100 percent natural silk, cashmere, and cotton to craft her brightly patterned pieces, as well as vintage kimono fabric.

Since her first collection back in 2006, she has used all her fabric scraps to make pom-poms. These are often her most popular items and she uses them to decorate accessories like belts and hats. She updates her designs each season and only ever makes a handful of each garment.
