The second-floor lounge of Colors Restaurant Lounge (Lima 342, tel. 051/36-9254, 10 a.m.–midnight daily) is the best place for evening drinks and appetizers. The black sofas are showcased against white walls, the cocktails are varied, and some evenings there’s a DJ.
The best pub in Puno [1] is Kamikaze (Grau 148, 5 p.m.–midnight Tues.–Sun.). For dancing, there’s Ekeko’s Pub (Lima 355, 5 p.m.–close daily), which ladles out free drinks 7:30–9:30 p.m.
The best and one of the only discos in Puno [1] is the salsa-influenced Domino (Libertad 437, 7 p.m.–3 a.m. Tues.–Sun.). El Palacio del Folklore (Lima 723, 7 p.m.–2 a.m.) is a peña that opens on Friday and Saturday nights with a wide range of regional dances, although the schedule is a bit unreliable.
