A handful of upscale hotels make up the small Zona Hotelera (Hotel Zone) on the east side of Chichén Itzá [1], complete with its own entrance to the ruins. Nearby, in the town of Pisté, there are a handful of budget and mid-range options. Be sure to reserve early during the spring and fall equinoxes.
