Three days are enough to visit Villahermosa [1] and Comalcalco [2], the state’s main destinations. In Villahermosa, spend the morning at Parque-Museo La Venta [3] and the afternoon checking out sights in the Zona Remodelada [4], such as the Centro Cultural [5], Plaza de las Armas, and Torre del Caballero.
The next day, hop on a colectivo to Comalcalco [2], where you easily can visit the ruins [6] and a chocolate factory [7] as a day trip.
Spend your final day in the anthropology museum [8], admiring some of the Olmec, Toltec, and Maya artifacts found around the state. Spend the afternoon poking around downtown or, if you need a mall fix, head to Tabasco 2000 [9].
