About 20 minutes south of Orange Walk Town [1], on the old Northern Highway, you can join the locals to indulge in white sandy beaches and shady coconut trees as nice as any on the cayes.
It’s mostly a locals’ picnic spot, and you’ll find some basic food services and tons of people during Semana Santa (Easter week).
