At Caleta Hanga Piko, directly opposite upscale Hotel Hangaroa, Camping Mihinoa (Av. Pont s/n, tel. 0322/551593, www.mihinoa.com [1], US$6–8 pp) has grassy but utterly treeless sites with access to bathrooms, showers, a kitchen and dining room, laundry service, and even Internet access; rental tents are available for US$3.50–5 per person. The higher prices correspond to the November–April high season. In addition, a few Hanga Roa [2] residenciales permit garden camping for a small charge.
