Hotel Los Felipe (1.5 blocks west of TicaBus, tel. 505/222-6501, www.hotellosfelipe.com.ni [1], $15/s with fan, $25 with a/c) is the best of the hotels in Barrio Martha Quezada. Rooms are clean and safe and have cable TV and phone; the hotel offers Internet, parking, pool, a shady patio area under a thatched roof, laundry service, and private baths.
Hotel Cisneros, just opposite Guesthouse Santos, offers similar comforts but is slightly more expensive ($25 with fan, and $40 with a/c) and not quite as pretty.
Hospedaje Mauricio Babilonia (six blocks south, half block west of El Zumen, Managua’s Civic Center, house #238, tel. 505/2260-1258, babilonia [at] turbonett [dot] com [dot] ni, $20) is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood towards the southeast side of town, rather far from everything of interest. All rooms have cable TV, hot water, and private bathroom. and Internet is available.
