It may not be in Chinatown [1], but the dim sum at Yank Sing (101 Spear St., 415/957-9300, www.yanksing.com [2], Mon.–Fri. 11 a.m.–3 p.m., Sat.–Sun. 10 a.m.–4 p.m.) is second to none. The family owns and operates both this restaurant and its sister on Stevenson Street, and now the third generation is training to take over. In addition to the traditional steamed pork buns, shrimp dumplings, egg custard tarts and such, the “Creative Collection” offers unique bites you won’t find elsewhere in the City. Lunch only!
