As a major vacation destination, you’ll have no trouble finding a place to stay around Lake Tahoe [1]. Some visitors camp around the lake, which can be beautiful in the summertime and frigid in winter, but most folks get rooms in the cute inns, historic hotels, budget motels, and upscale resorts that cluster in Tahoe’s towns. Or they hook up with a rental agency and find a fully furnished vacation cabin or condo to call their own for the duration of their stay.
