The best view of Yosemite Valley [1] may not be from the valley floor. To get a different look at the familiar formations and falls, drive up Glacier Point Road to Glacier Point. Glacier Point Road stays open all year (except when storms make it temporarily impassable) to allow access to the Badger Pass ski area [2].
