Although the truly wealthy live above Hollywood [1] on Mulholland Drive [2], in Bel-Air, or on the beach at Malibu [3], there’s still plenty of money floating around in Beverly Hills.
Some of the world’s best and most expensive shops sit on the streets of Beverly Hills. You’ll also find more than adequate high-end culture in the area, which bleeds into West L.A.
The division seems almost seamless now, compared to the tremendous class gash that used to exist between Beverly Hills and the infamous Sunset Strip [4].
