In addition to the concerts at Foxwoods [1] and Mohegan Sun [2], downtown Norwich has several bars and clubs that feature live music. The star attraction is Club Ballaro (276 Main St., Norwich, 860/889-9387), which has two floors of dancing and sometimes rock bands.

Attached to an Italian restaurant, Bella Notte (543 W. Thames St., Norwich, 860/887-1944, 5 p.m.–1 a.m. Tue.–Fri.; 5 p.m.–2 a.m. Sat.–Sun.) hosts DJs and live music acts that cater to a local crowd.
