Is there a monster lurking deep in Flathead Lake [1]? Sightings have been reported for well over 100 years, and in 1955 it was even reported to have been caught. Although the creature in question turned out to be a 7.5-foot, 181-pound white sturgeon, it is preserved in the Polson-Flathead Historical Museum.
