The Ptarmigan Dining Room (6:30–10 a.m., 11 a.m.–3 p.m., and 5–9:30 p.m. daily early June–late Sept., dinner $13–22) at the Many Glacier Hotel [1] has a continental Swiss-inspired theme. It’s the same meat and fish dispensed to other Glacier Park hotels, but here it’s sauced and stuffed rather than grilled or breaded and fried.
In the Swiftcurrent Motor Inn, you’ll find the Italian Gardens Ristorante (6:30–10 a.m., 11 a.m.–3 p.m., and 5–9:30 p.m., $7–15), a pretty good casual pizza and pasta place with Montana microbrews, and a camp store.
