Belz Museum

The Belz Museum of Asian and Judaic Art (119 S. Main St., 901/523-2787, Tues.–Fri. 10 a.m.–5:30 p.m., Sat.–Sun. noon–5 p.m., adults $5, children $4), formerly Peabody Place Museum, houses one of the largest collections of artwork from the Q’ing dynasty.

Forged from the private collection of Memphis developers Jack and Marilyn Belz, owners of the Peabody Hotel [1] and Peabody Place mall, the museum features some 1,000 objects, including an array of jade, tapestries, paintings, furniture, carvings, and other artifacts.
