Pigeon Forge’s city park is Patriot Park, located behind the Old Mill. Named for the Patriot Bomber that is on permanent display, the park is the site of festival, fairs, and other events.
You can’t help but notice WonderWorks (Parkway, 865/868-1800, www.wonderworkstn.com , daily 9 a.m.–midnight, adults 13 and up $20, children 4–12 $10), whose facade is turned completely upside down. The illusion is merely cosmetic, but it sets the stage for the over-the-top kid-friendly activities inside. WonderWorks includes a disaster zone where you can feel what it would be like to experience a major earthquake or hurricane. There is a gallery of optical illusions, and laser tag ($5 extra). WonderWorks is also home to Hoot N’ Holler, a family-friendly dinner theater that is staged several times a day.
