Formerly a motley affair, Cienfuegos [1]’s Museo Histórico Naval (Calle 21, e/ 60 y 62, tel. 043/51-9143, Tues.–Sat. 10 a.m.–6 p.m., Sat.–Sun. 9 a.m.–1 p.m., CUC1 entrance, CUC1 camera), in the former navy headquarters, is now worth a visit for its model ships, colonial armory, and nautical miscellany up to the present day. It was here in 1957 that naval officers rebelled against the Batista regime.
