In Lynden [2], Homestead Golf & Country Club (360/354-1196 or 800/354-1196, www.homesteadfarmsgolf.com [3], $65) maintains an elaborate 18-hole championship course where one hole sits on an island. There’s also a putting course, gourmet restaurant, and an impressive fitness center. All are open to the public.
