Stock up on fresh fruits and vegetables, along with arts and crafts. Another farmers market is held in Proctor (4001 N. 26th St., 253/223-4655, 9 a.m.–2 p.m. Sat. June–early Sept.).
Out in the Proctor District, the Queen Anne Thriftway (2420 N. Proctor, 253/761-3663) is a great gourmet grocery store with imported and specialty foods and a fine deli.
