Vashon’s biggest summertime event is the two-day Strawberry Festival in mid-July. Parades, music, food, and crafts highlight the event; ferry traffic will be heavy, so it’s a good idea to arrive early. The Island Earth Fair, a music and crafts festival, is held in August.
