More than 300 miles of trails lie within the Darrington Ranger District. Many of these are maintained by volunteers, so do your part to keep them clean. Parking-area theft is a major problem in this isolated area, so don’t assume your valuables are safe in the trunk. Leave them at home or carry them with you. Report all thefts to a ranger station or the county sheriff.
The following hiking trails are listed in a roughly northeastward progression from Verlot to Darrington [1] along the Mountain Loop Highway [2].
