In mid-May the town carves out a niche for itself with Woodfest, a celebration of woodcarving and woodworking from inelegant chain-saw art to intricately carved works.<
The 4th of July brings the weeklong Loggerodeo to Sedro-Woolley [1]—an annual event for more than 65 years—with logging contests, parades, a rodeo, street dance, bed race, carnival, vintage car show, crafts fair, and big fireworks display.
Founders’ Day in mid-September includes a pancake breakfast, animal parade, and children’s games.
