Cashmere [1] has two comfortable places. La Toscana Bed and Breakfast (9020 Foster Rd., 509/548-5448, $110 s or d), between Cashmere and Peshastin [2], offers elegantly decorated rooms in a lodge on the grounds of small winery.
On a less grand scale, Village Inn Motel (229 Cottage Ave., 509/782-3522 or 800/793-3522, www.cashmerevillageinn.com [3], $69 s, $79 d) offers humble motel rooms in its two-story roadside property.
Far from being a one-trick pony, Brian’s Bulldog Pizza (107 Cottage Ave., 509/782-1505, www.briansbulldogpizza.com [4], Sun.–Thurs. 10 a.m.–8:30 p.m., Fri.–Sat. 11 a.m.–10 p.m.) has lots going for it, including a baked potato bar, lasagna, and other goodies to go along with the pizza.
Tasty baked goods can be found just down the street at Sure to Rise Bakery (115 Cottage Ave., 509/782-2424, Tues.–Sat. 7:30 a.m.–6 p.m., closed Mon.).
